New Student Directory
The New Student Directory is published each fall for incoming freshmen, transfer students and their parents. It features photos and information about other new students, plus a wealth of resources and information about people, places, academics and organizations. To order, click here. (Cal Poly's school ID number is 8433).SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising & Registration) - For all transfer and freshman students, Cal Poly holds seminars during July and August with information sessions about registration, transitioning to college life and developing a first quarter schedule. The Student Orientation, Advising & Registration (SOAR) program coordinates these efforts with programs for you and your family. Student Philanthropy Council (SPC)
The Student Philanthropy Council is a student-led effort created to develop a culture of philanthropy among Cal Poly students and to promote an appreciation of the impact that private donations make at Cal Poly. As one of its first goals, the Council is reinstating the tradition of a Senior Class Gift. ph: 805-756-6448WOW (Week of Welcome) - The Week of Welcome Orientation Program offers new students and their families a successful transition into the college experience.
