Search the Alumni Web

Are you involved?

The Cal Poly Alumni Association offers everyone an opportunity to become involved. We are always looking for additional alumni to assist chapters by serving on a chapter board, planning events, or generating ideas for alumni gatherings. There are many ways you can help. To start, take a look through our chapter information to get in touch with chapter section in your area. If we don’t have a contact in your area, and you would like to assist with an event or share your ideas with us, call the Alumni Association at (888) CAL-POLY or (805) 756-2586.

Regional Chapters
Regional chapters are like your very own Cal Poly “away from home.” Regional chapters offer year-round programming and events for all alumni in that area. Cal Poly has over 107,000 alumni living in California alone. For that reason, CPAA has grouped the chapters in California into four regions, Northern, Central Valley, Central Coast, and Southern.

Special Interest Chapters
Special Interest Chapters are formed based on a unique interest for that group. Special Interest chapters hold programs and events to connect their members and also support their student counterparts at Cal Poly.

GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) Program GOLD logo & yellow running horse
The GOLD program represents over 38,000 Cal Poly alumni. Networking, social and sporting events are hosted through the regional chapter program and open to everyone. Check the Event Calendar for upcoming events in your area or sign-up for free Lifetime E-mail Forwarding to receive invitations through e-mail.

Cal Poly Retired Faculty and Staff Club
Find out what your favorite former professor is up to these days! Visit the Cal Poly Retired Faculty and Staff Club Web site. The Retired Faculty and Staff Club gives retirees a chance to stay in touch with colleagues, make new friends and keep up with campus news and events. The club also raises money for the RFS Centennial Scholarship for current students -- and has raised more than $59,000 so far. Be sure to browse through the Faculty Memories section of the web site, with photos and stories from Cal Poly's decades past. The club has just begun to build its web site, so check back every now and then to see who has added new memories and photos.
