Decorate the Cal Poly Rose Float Dec. 30, Watch the Rose Parade Jan. 1 Come be a part of an annual tradition: Decorating the Cal Poly Rose Float. This year's float theme is "Artic Antics.” Alumni, parents and friends will be working Saturday, December 30. Then on Monday, January 1, enjoy the 118th annual Tournament of Roses Parade with a grandstand view on Colorado Boulevard. Register by Friday, Dec. 15 to decorate. RSVP by completing and submitting the registration form and the liability release form. You may also contact Hunt Turner at hunt356@alumni.calpoly.edu for more information and to RSVP. Decorating Details for Saturday, Dec. 30 When you arrive at the Brookside Tent, check in at the Cal Poly SLO table at the Decorator’s Entrance. You will receive a required decorator badge, which must be worn at all times. Once you are in the tent, look for the Cal Poly Alumni table. A light dinner, drinks and snacks will be served. NOTES FOR DECORATING: * Be sure to wear grubby clothes – some of the materials used may not come off.
